@priyawouldntwannabeya:  i bit the bullet and bought two of the Empreinte…i LOVE them, i bought some other brands (prima donna, panache and chantelle) at the same time, but I much prefer the empreinte!…hopefully they last 8 years!

@RheaIzar:  Ooh, I want to go to SFYS later this year once I get closer to my goal weight! (I’m losing weight now so it wouldn’t be worth it since my boobs keep shrinking) I’m glad to hear that the experience was all it’s cracked up to be!  I can’t wait.

@priyawouldntwannabeya:  So glad to hear that you got it and are enjoying it!  I’ve always bought crappy La Senza bras on sale for like $20-30.  I know I’m wearing the wrong size though, so I’m saving my pennies and waiting until my weight has stabilized.

I’d probably spend $100-125 max on a bra…maybe $150 if I REALLY love it.  But you know what though?  I hear so many different opinions on how long bras should last.  At the store, they will tell you they’ll last a few years if you take care of them, but from bra experts online and stuff, they tell you to get re-fitted every 6 months to a year because people’s weight changes, bras stretch out, etc.  If I put down $100+ for a bra though, I’d try to get at least 2 years out of them.

If I were in your situation and found an amazing bra that’s really pricey, I might get 1 or 2, and then get 1-3 of the awesome-but-not-mind-blowing ones.  For me personally, having 4 bras is enough.  Usually I get 3 black ones (preferably lacy) and a nude convertible bra that’s low-cut for more difficult outfits.  Sometimes I get 2 black and 2 nudes, but only 1 convertible.  All of my underwear are black (sometimes with accent colours) and nude as well. I’m a big fan of colour themes because I like things to match!

I have small boobs, relatively, and don’t need a lot of support. I fit into a very standard size, so I usually buy my bras at TJ Maxx or Marshalls and spend no more than $20. I don’t need to, so why would I?

I think the most I could force myself to spend would be $40, if the bra was absolutely amazing.

Otherwise, I would only be comfortable spending like $25-$30.

I spend about $60 on my “everyday” bras and up to $125 for special/nicer ones.

From a guys point of view spend all the money just come back with a sexy but comfortable bra. Nothung sexier than a well dressed woman with a brain of course.
