Husband is debt free, but I’m about $21K in debt between the car loan and student loans.

Without factoring in my car, I’m at about 5k in debt. 4300 of it is medical. 1300 is credit cards from living with my ex and literally only having my credit cards to get by since I was paying all the bills. I’m not really factoring in my car because I am buying it from my mom, and I’ve already paid 2k towards it out of 6k. Until last month,  my debt was about 2k less, but I got hit with a 2k (after insurance, yet I should have only a 1500 dollar deductible??) Hospital bill.

My boyfriend only has what he owes on his truck that he bought brand new in November. The plan is that once he has more of that taken care of, we will be buying a house. I’m hoping to have paid off my debt by then.

This post actually reminded me to go ahead and set my September credit card payments up so i didn’t need to remember them. I try to pay the minimum payment for the month each check so I’m at least paying 2x a month on each card and it’s not a huge amount.

Not including mortgage, I would say about $7000 in student loan debt.

We have one car loan (2 years into a 5-year loan) and also financed a pricy hot water heater.

Currently none besides our mortgage. We paid off my graduate student loans in February. My Darling Husband is back in school and not working, but thankfully the college has a payment plan that breaks it up, so we are paying as we go.

Right now we don’t have any debt other than our mortage, but within the next few months, we will be getting a new car.

Darling Husband has 10k in student loans, I’ve paid mine off.
Owns his car outright, I don’t drive.
Neither of us has credit card debt.
We rent because we live overseas, so no mortgage.
    He’s 30 and I am 29.
