We bought my Fiance a classic 6mm comfort-fit yellow gold band. No extra bling or anything. We were quoted $300, but because he has super thin fingers (a 7.5 ring size!), the price dropped to $250. That would have been that, but because we bought my e-ring at that same store and they are having a fall sale (Kays Jewelers- until the end of October if you spend over $300!) we got a coupon for $100 off. A pretty sweet deal.

$1250 – white gold with brushed finish around the middle, shiny finish along the edges, 9 diamonds in 3 vertical rows of 3. He wanted something plain but I didn’t let him pick it out. I wanted him to have a little bling since he out so much effort into designing my wedding set.

$2k – he liked the thinkest band possible in platinum.  But I also got the exact ring I wanted, so turn around is fair play!

I’m spending close to $1k, but it’s what he wants so I think it’s worth it.

His was around $1700 but it’s platinum and he really liked it (and I did too) and since he really isn’t a fan of jewelry on men, I was happy to get it for him!

fi is cool with as cheap as possible.  we definitely don’t plan to spend more than 300 on his!  don’t you just love that they spend THOUSANDS on us, and they’re fine with the cheapest possible!?  sometimes, it’s fun being the girl 😉

We got his at a local jeweler for about $400. It’s two-toned and very similar to Mr. Mary Jane’s ring.

We bought our rings in Philadelphia’s jeweler’s row and his yellow gold comfort fit ring only cost $130. It was half off, as was mine. It’s worth checking out your city’s jewlery district for a great deal.

We went into a jewelry store at the mall.  We got both of ours on clearance.  About 40 to 50% off.  Awesome!!! I love getting things on sale and if they are wedding related, it’s even better!

Did you all that found rings on sale know going into your shopping experience that the jewelry store was having a sale or was it the luck of the draw? I’d love to go shopping in a store so that we can try a couple of different bands on and order appropriate sizes, but I’d also really like to take advantage of these sales of which you ladies speak!
