@Soon2BMrsMiles: We only had to pay about $40.00 for mine to be sized and it had to be sent off to do so. I think $100 each sounds pretty steep. But it could be a regional thing too, not sure.

I got my engagement ring re-sized from a 6 to a 4.75.

It cost me $40 and they did it in one day.

I also have a 1/2 pave band so they had to check and re-tighten all the stone settings.

Good question, mine is at the jeweler right now getting resized and they did not mention any cost at all. I guess I’ll find out tomorrow when I get it back.

Hmm, my jeweler doesn’t charge anything to have it sized. I am also planning on getting my wedding band sottered (spelling?) to my Engagement Ring and that again will not cost anything. Plus if I lose any diamonds or anything they replace them for free. I have never heard of having to pay to get a ring resized??

@Soon2BMrsMiles: I’d be down there right now. No one would be telling me I couldn’t come pick up my rings.

I took my e-ring back to the jeweler where Darling Husband bought my setting and it didnt cost anything. But the second time (I am going to need it sized again because I have a really hard time getting it off) they said it will cost $79

@Soon2BMrsMiles: What are the rings made of? Sorry just saw you are sizing UP not down.

Sizing up might be more expensive if the jeweler is charging you for the extra material he’s putting into the ring.

I think I’ve had it cost like $60 to size up – because they have to actually add gold.
