45 cents- just the basic stamp cost

65 cents- it was a little heavy will all the extra things in there

85 cents- it was pretty heavy with everything in there

90 cents or more- huge or heavy invitation

I had to pay 90 cents for baby shower invites because I had the bright idea of putting a cute embelishment on it that made it bump up to far for the normal machine. Not a wedding invite, but still a special formal invite.

@TequilaSunrise:  Same, our invite had a ribbon knot in it … and it was just because of that alone that it wouldn’t fit in the regular slot. GRRRR.

Do you mean including the RSVP envelope? My invite itself is 90 cents (they are square which is such bs…who can’t have a machine to process square envelopes by now), plus my RSVP envelope is another 45 cents, so $1.35 for each. It’s weird though because my invites were very simple-just the invite, RSVP envelope and card, and vellum insert. No fancy ribbons or anything.

I spent the 45 cents on the stamp, but then 32 on postcard rsvp stamps inside each one.
