We’re paying for our rings, the registrar’s fees and marriage certificate, the ceremony/drinks reception music, and towards the honeymoon, as well as a few other bits (eg our accommodation): about $6000.
His mum is contributing to our honeymoon (probably around $1500), and my parents are paying the rest (approx $23,000)

We are paying for 100% of the wedding. We both plan to save $10,000 each ($20,000 total) and that should cover absolutely everything: amazing private ceremony and fancy dinner reception for 60 plus an epic honeymoon!

We’re still 9 months out but so far have a 50k wedding and we are contributing all of it…it’s all paid for in fact but we are staggering payments so we can use our miles card to earn points…it slows down the process since we can’t just go make payments…we have to wait for stuff to clear etc.

Fiance is paying for the whole thing, so in my planning I’ve been cutting corners wherever I can to keep costs down. Trying to stick to under 12k. I heard a rumor that his parents are going to give us 5k, but haven’t seen or heard any of that from them yet.

$5-10K including honeymoon (also wedding rings, FI’s attire, gifts for the bridal party, and rehearsal dinner). Ouch!

My dad gave us $7,000.
DH mum gave us $7,000.
DH dad gave us $2,000.
We paid the rest- it was over $15,000.
Weddings are so expensive!

We didn’t want our parents to pay for anything, so we’re paying all of the $35,000.

Our budget reached 75k once it was all done and we paid for it all.

My fiance and I are paying for 100% of it except for engagement party which has gratefully gifted to us by my PIL. My aunts are also contributing 1K for our honeymoon (but our hm is estimated to cost around 5k+).
So far, we have about 12K of our 30K goal saved up with a year to go. I basically put all of my paychecks in to the wedding fund and we use his paychecks to pay bills and take care of our day-to-day.

We paid for everything except the rehearsal dinner!

We’re not paying for anything, excluding rings and honeymoon. my parents are payiabout out 35,000 and FI’s parents gave us a budget of $1500-$2000 for the rehearsal dinner. we’re very lucky.

We paid $31K for the wedding, $5K for the honeymoon. My parents gave us $3K, his parents paid for the Rehearsal Dinner (about $3K), and we paid for the rest. We made our goal of paying for it all in cash, so we were pretty thrilled. 🙂

We are paying for 75% of the budget ($30,000) and my parents are contributing 25% ($10,000), that does not include a honeymoon

I just found out my mom is going to pay for the tip at the rehearsal dinner..and she bought us some floating candles (bought them one at a time with 40% off coupons)…so my parents have contributed $70, Fiance and me about $15k.

This poll might have been better set up as percentages. We paid 100% of our wedding.
