Thank you everyone for your input! It seems like most of us are on the same page, I definitely want to remember every moment! And I think I’ll be staying away from the red wine and bloody Mary’s, don’t need any risk of staining my dress!

lantana : oh my goodness, I think that’s my worst nightmare! The poor girl! I’ll definitely be limiting my alcohol to avoid that happening to me!

I’m definitely going to want to drink, but my issue is usually not eating enough BEFORE that! So we’ve tried to plan out a yummy breakfast and lunch so that there’s a solid ‘base’ in haha. Knowing our friends, there will be lots of shots towards the end of the night :S

I had a couple glasses of champagne and then 1 or two glasses of wine. I don’t think I actually finished any of the drinks completely though. I’d get part-way through and then leave to go talk to people or dance and my drink would disappear.
Also, good call on drinking only white drinks. I totally spilled wine all over myself because I knocked it over while trying to shake the photographer’s hand. Luckily, it was white wine, and my dress was ivory. No one noticed a thing!

I had a few drinks but was by no means drunk. I had a glass of champagne whilst getting ready and another in the limo on the way to the ceremony. I had another glass during the photos with our bridal party (which I didn’t finish, as it went warm – yuck!). I’m actually not 100% sure how many glasses I had at the reception, as the waitstaff kept topping off my glass whenever they walked past, but I spent a lot of time socialising so my glass was often left forgotten.

- Wedding: September 2015 - Hotel Ballroom
I think I had maybe four drinks total. Two with dinner, two throughout the evening afterwords. I did NOT want to get drunk at my own wedding.
