45lbs. Waaaayyyy more than I expected. I don’t even feel like I ate too much. I was down 25 of those lbs by 3 weeks post-partum. I lost 10 more lbs shortly after returning to work (just being more active). I’m 9 months pp and I’m still up 6lbs pre-pregnancy. I haven’t worked out to get it off though.

I gained 39 lbs and all but 2 lbs came off on their own by 8 months postpartum. No dieting and very little exercise…some walking, but I have been breastfeeding. I think if I put in a bit of effort those 2 lbs would come off. I really wish I’d spent less time obsessing over weight gain and hating my body during pregnancy and postpartum. If you eat healthy and try to at least walk 30 min per day trust that your body is gaining what it needs to create a human. Everyone is different but my weight gain was not linear and I gained the bulk of my weight in the second trimester.
