    @MrsElopement:  DB did a sweetheart? I want mine done so baddd! My fitting is tuesday and i’m worried they won’t do it, they already said they can’t shorten the train because they can’t alter the dress.

    Hemming the organza overlay(which was just cutting it)- $100 (CRAZYYYY!!!!)

    Taking it in at the bodice- $50

    Inserting cups- $25

    French bustle-$100

    Added cups and a crinoline, took in top and hemmed a bit–$450. I hated the alterations, though. The top was taken in too much, I actually had to come back in because the lady had forgotten to hem a good third of it. I’d say keep looking if you get quoted something over $400, I think you could do better.
