We thought our E-pics were included but it turns out its only free for the meet after that its a la cart so in order to actually get a CD of the high quality images its 300 dollars or 60 dollars for ONE! We can see the low res web photo online with his little stamped logo in the corner for free but thats it.I really want Epics but 300 seems insane for just a CD.
The wedding package was a good deal so we booked him for that but now i’m wondering if i should do his Epic shoot but also do another that won’t charge me an arm and a leg for the pictures. I work with a photographer and he said he’d take some pictures of us. So maybe I should just take him up on that and not pay for any of the pictures from our wedding photographer.
I was never a good judge on any wedding costs so i’m wondering if 300 is normal?

Ours will be $350 for a 2-3 hr session and a package of pics. We will have enough for our use and to give to our families. Our photographer has only been working for 4 years, hence the lowprices.

Ours was $325 for about an hour and half-ish and one outfit change

They were included in our photography package, so not sure.

Ours were an addition to our photog package- $300 for 2 hours and I’m in a pricey area.

The 1hour engagement photo session and photo CD were free. The only part that required payment were the prints.

Our engagement session itself was free but we paid $350 for the CD of images (and rights to the photos/aka to be able to print forever without paying the $60 or whatever it was per photo). I think it’s pretty standard for photographers to charge for the CD of images/rights. In my opinion, it’s an investment that is worth it, especially for the wedding images because you can then give copies of the CDs to your parents, distribute photos to whoever wants them, and print freely.

We paid $200 for 2 hours of shooting time, at a location of our choice, with a disc of all photos and rights.

Ours is included with the package. However, for a regular photoshoot without a wedding (e.g. for babies, families, etc.), it is about $1500 for the shoot and all digital files.
