I’m just curious how much you spent on your FIs wedding band? What kind did you get?
Our wedidng is a month and a half away and I really need to get on buying a ring! I just don’t have a lot of money to spend!

We got a tungsten (spelling?) band – $299 cdn.

We haven’t actually bought it yet (he’s deciding between 2 and needs to try them both on, so they’re being shipped to our jeweler). They’re both ceramic with a tungsten inlay, both cost $160.

FH & I both got channel-set white gold rings. Mine had 0.5tcw & his was a little less, but was wider (more gold). Both rings were around $1200 (each).

I paid 1600 for his platinum band. I wanted to get him platinum like he did for me, 🙂

I got him a cobalt band and it was $350. There are lots of inexpensive tungsten options!

Hubby’s was $220, I can’t remember if it was tungsten or cobalt now tho

We got a classic white gold band for $700 but many of our friends have the titanium or tungsten rings which are very affordable.

We paid $1,058.00 for his band (white gold) and it was sadly stolen about a week ago. We are buying him the same band again and thankfully the jeweler is giving us a bit of a discount.

Darling Husband got a tungsten band from ebay. The material is super cheap, so it’s easy to find really cheap rings made with it :). He lost it (temporarily) a few months after the wedding, and we got him a back-up titanium ring for $25.

Darling Husband picked out a Tungsten ring. It cost $40. Nope, not missing any zeros. I felt a little guilty considering my 2 wedding bands cost $800 but it’s what he chose and what he wanted. Although sometime when I see him carelessly leaving it all over the house I’m glad that it was only $40 and not $400.

Plain gold band, to match mine (mine has milgraining). He has huge hands, so it was $600 for his size 13, 7mm band.

$1600 for his platinum band.
