Ok, so after weighing in my invites at the post office today, I’m paying a slightly high cost of $1.12 per invite to send them. The size/shape of my envelopes are just a hair over the normal size for envelopes and thus puts it in the more expensive “large envelope” category. What I found funny was that the nice lady at the post office was more upset about the bigger size than I was…she was trying to save me money!
What were the costs of your postage for the invites? And if they were high, what made them cost more?
Just curious what other bees have gone through…

Haven’t sent them out yet, but I had them weighed (5×7 invite, two enclosure cards, RSVP envelope, twine) and she said they were whatever the current stamp price is.

@PeachSnapple: Don’t forget to calculate the price of the return envelope for the RSVP card if applicable!
Ours were 46 cents, but if I would have addressed them longways the price would have gone up (I forget by how much).

46 cents for outer envelope, 46 cents for inner envelope. Mine weren’t very complicated. *shrug* 🙂
