Wow I gues I got an awesome deal. My friend who is a photographer only asked for 200.00 and traveled almost 6 hrs to be there. She took pics from the time I started getting ready till the reception ended. About 6 hrs. The photos came out freaking awesome I have to say.

$800, for 5 hours (approx), bride, groom and bridal party at 2 locations, ceremony, and group and family photos, reception coverage for 2 hours (inc guest photos, cake cutting and bridal waltz. Its my cousins wife who is a professional photographer; so she will probably take more anyway. She also edits them too and burnt to Hi-res cd. I’m seeing her this weekend.

$1360 – photographer and second shooter, 8 hours, engagement session, DVDs of all photos (edited, includes all photos resized for web upload, as well), print rights (photos printable up to 8×10).

I love her DVDs because she custom designs the little case (e-pics) and mini album (wedding), laser prints the disc, and writes a personalized note in it. 🙂

We paid $1500 for full day (10-12 hours), 400-500 edited pictures, all the unedited pictures and a leatherbound coffee table book.

$2750 – 600 edited photos, online wedding gallery, complimentary guest cards, engagement shoot, 6 hrs day of.

I am rather picky about wedding photos. I have seen people pay around $1000 and their pics are not edited very well and they have very few really gorgeous pics. I chose this photog because she is very artistic. She has the “eye” for it.

~$1700 for 1 shooter.  Included engagement pics and day-after (by request) shoots, and we ended up with just over 1000 pictures.

I think it was about 2,600 and included 9 hours (4 locations), 2 shooters, 600ish edited images on a DVD (not sure of the exact #, she usually gives more than stated in the contract and we haven’t gotten them all yet), and an e-shoot.  In Toronto.
