@mah434s: That’s an amazing deal! I’d probably charge more.

I am paying 1300, we’re getting our main photographer for 6 hours and a second shooter for 4 hours. We had a friendor do our engagements separately for $100. We’re not getting any prints or albums directly from our photographer.

Engagement shoot, 8 hours, 2 shooters, disc of all edited photos–$3000

I am completely in love with our photog and they were a major splurge for us, so I got the lowest package and added on a few hours.  We will print/order our own pics.

Gosh, what a great deal. Paying 4000 for 8 hours with two photographers, engagement shoot, photo gallery. Does not include disc ($750.00) or photoalbum (upwards of $1,000.00). If I go with one I probably won’t go with the other and will probably decide afterward which I want based on how good we were with the budget.

As an aside, I live in Philadelphia and things are generally more expensive here.

An engagement shoot, 7 hours with 2 photographers and a dvd with ~700 edited high resolution images with print rights for $2,400. But apparently the photographer is going to take her time on getting me the dvd, because after almost 4 months~I have nothing.

We’re paying $500 for 6 hours of unlimited photos with 2 photographers and all edited photos on dvd.  They are a couple starting out with fantastic equipment and the weddings they have done thus far are incredible.  I believe they bumped up their prices since we booked them.

This is huge for our wedding budget!

Edmonton, Canada

$2100

I get a family photo session (in lieu of an engagement session), 2 photographers the day of, unlimited hours shooting, and a DVD with all shots with rights to reproduce. I think she does limited editing – only for light and colour.
