$885 not including organist. That is just the church, priest, and cantor fee.

Husband and I married at this historic church, same church his grandmother was baptized in as a baby. This church is special to us, our engagement was blessed here as well. We paid $1,000. Organist included. I know it’s a bit much but was important for us and memories will be forever. Now expecting, we plan to baptize our baby here as well.

$600 for the church

$50 for the organist

$35 for the cantor

$20 for altar servers ($10 ea)

The church I’m getting married in has to hold close to 400-500 people.  There’s another church nearby that’s only $300 for the church, but it only holds 150.  I guess per possible maxium person, I’m getting a good deal?  Too bad I’m only having ~75 people!

My mom Is a member (gives money with envelopes on Sunday) so it was only about $250 maybe $300, don’t remember exactly, but If you are a member of church it’s much less.

Wow! A lot of bees paid a lot. Mines included everything except the cantor (it was only him and the priest). We didn’t have to do donations either.

Ours is $300 plus $100 damage deposit which gets returned.

I believe the priest and music will recieve around $50-$100 for their time.

If we got married in our church they wouldn’t charge a dime, but it’s too small (they’re in the process of building a larger one) but since our guests won’t fit we had to rent another church which cost us 450. We are paying the music coordinator 100 or 150 and of course we’ll give our priest a donation as well

My Catholic church is charging $1000 for members!  A couple hundred more for the priest, alter servers, and music.  That seems to be what all churches are charging in the Los Angeles area.  I never knew it would cost that much!

We are members of our church. In addition to the money in our envelopes every week (which is a requirement to be in ‘a member in good standing’ to allow us to marry in the church since our church only marries members), we also have to pay $700 plus $250 for the musician. It’s definitely not cheap!
