we are paying $1300  We live in Chicago so everything is a bit more expensive.  I have to say, (we are getting married in less than a month) she is the best money we have spent.  She is so thoughtful and is taking care of so much stuff and providing a candle service and is just amazing.  I highly reccomend having one  My friends got married last weekend and didn’t have one and had to deal with all the things that go wrong during their wedding.

I am paying $1250 in St. Louis. This included a pre-planning meeting (where she basically told me if my budget was realistic, gave suggestions), phone/email communications including vendor recommendations and other general questions, a meeting one week before, creating a timeline for everything, confirming all times for vendors, four hours on rehersal day, and unlimited time on the day of with two people (she said it’d probably be 11am-7pm for one person and noon-11pm for the other), including set-up of our ceremony and reception sites (two different locations), packing up gifts/momentos/all cleanup, and basically being our gofers.

Granted we haven’t gotten married yet, but I already think they’re worth it. My mom and I won’t have to worry about a thing the day of, a friend is officiating our ceremony so she will lead our rehersal since he won’t really know what to do, and we can get into our reception space until our ceremony time so it’s necessary we have someone else set that stuff up.
