My Dj is gonna be $600, but we’re getting 2 people. One to do the actual music and one that’s gonna do the speaking and mingle with the guests. He’ll have a microphone and get people to speak, and make sure the guests are on the dance floor. I thought that was a fun idea.

Also some people quoted me close to $900 for what I wanted, with the lights, so for the Savannah area I got a good deal.

$500 for 4 hours, he ended up doing it for 4 and a half for no extra charge, he was really nice.. we live in utah and the cheapest we found was $300 for 4 hours but we wanted someone with more experience.

edit: mine was just for the reception. we had a church ceremony and paid $100 for the church musician for 1 hour

$400. He’s spinning for three hours, and cueing our ceremony music too. He’s a friend and he’s traveling 8 hours to come to our wedding! We are finding him accommodation at a friend’s house and he’s taking care of himself while he’s down in the city. I am so happy to have him, and at such a good price. We do have to rent some PS equipment though, so that will be about another $75 -100, so I guess $500 is our total.

$500 for 6 hours (from cocktail hour through dinner then older music for the older people and then an all out rave for the younger people later in the night), bringing in extra lights, a wireless mic for me and a fog machine! =DDD

Uggg, I need to move!  The best deal I found was around $1,500 for five hours (ceremony and reception).

I got an amazing deal at $250 for unlimited time and lights (which I declined having anyway). He is running the music for the ceremony so he is even coming to the rehearsal!
