We’re contracted for 5 hours (looking to up it to 5.5) at $950. This includes emcee duties, but does not include lighting or equipment, as they are already set at the venue. To be honest, it still feels like we’re getting a good deal. He’s really responsive, takes his job seriously, and has had some really useful suggestions about the reception in general.
$750 for like 8-9 hours, crazy uplighting, really neat LED lights, etc. But he’s a friend of mine from elementary school. I think we’re getting a really good deal.
Thanks bees 🙂 Still waiting for some DJ responses today and hoping for decent prices! I only contacted people whose lowest ratings were around a 4.5 or 4.6 out of 5. I’m too nervous about something going wrong on their part! Lol
I”m in Pittsburgh, our DJ is for ceremony/reception in the same location different rooms and 12 uplights: $1450
1600 for ceremony, reception and cocktail hour! 7 hours total. It was all worth it because he was great!
$1595 for DJ, $850 for photobooth and $950 for uplighting – same outfit is doing all three so we saved a couple of bucks for bundling them.
Our DJ was $450, but he’s a friend of a friend so he gave me a great deal. His rates and packages usually start at $700.
$775 for 7 hours of music (cocktail hour, background music during dinner, and reception music). Plus that package includes 8 uplights in our choice of color.
