@Mrs.Sunflower: WOW what a steal!! GORGEOUS!

My dress was originally $500 from J. Crew. I used a coupon and got it for $350. My alterations were only $25 (just bringing up the bottom hem a bit), so grand total: $375

Not bad! 😉

I love your dress!!

Mine was 900+75+taxes, so total was 1101.75$. Alterations should only cost me about 100$.

Mine was originally $869 but I got a $100 discount from the salon since AA was having a sale (had to specifically ask for it but they gave it to me). It ended up being $835 after tax before alterations. I’m really hoping alterations won’t bancrupt me. Fingers crossed for only needing a bustle!

Mine will cost $650 with taxes. I budgeted for $600 but I’ll take $650 for a dress that fits great and makes me feel great!

Ceremony dress – one-of-a-kind, free from designer (would retail for $6,000-7,000)

Reception dress – Kennedy by Amsale, $1,300 for the sample (retail is about $4,000)

I love a great deal. 🙂  Both were too big.  I have a lovely seamstress who only charges $150 to take in dresses, so I’ll spend $300 extra (I expected double that!).  I never would have dreamed that I’d have two designer dresses and only spend about $1,600.

The total for my dress, veil, and sash, after tax, was $682. The dress itself was $600 originally, but on sale for $550. Veil was clearanced for $50 and sash was $29. Tax seriously bit me in the ass 🙁 Hoping for no alterations here too…I have a good feeling about it since the dress is so simple…we’ll see in September when it comes in!

I still have to get undergarments so I’m figuring another $50-$100 for those, and my bolero will be about $50 as well.

around 800 for the dress. I don’t know what alterations will be. I don’t start those until sept 12th (btw is Sept 12 late for a 1st dress fitting for an Oct 22 wedding?)

Mine was originally over a grand.  I paid $520.  My alterations were 110.  The A line bra was $60.  I still need a half slip I think (and maybe Spanx, lol…)
