I’m on a tight budget but I’m nervous about not having a hair trial at all. What was the cost of your hair trial and then the wedding day hair cost (if you’re already married)?
My makeup plans are taken care of, my cousin’s doing mine for $15 and she already knows what I look good in, haha.
ETA: Also, how far in advance did you have your trial done?

My trial & updo the day of were the same price…$50/each. Not bad.

Wow, that’s awesome. I can barely get a haircut for $15.
I’m probably going to shell out $75 at the place I normally go to. I’m sure I could shop around, but if I have to do 2-3 to find another place, it’s not going to be budget friendly either.

I got the deal of the century–my girl only charged $75 for both a hair and makeup trial AND hair and makeup on my wedding day. Needless to say, I tipped her very well. 🙂

My hair is $65 they day of and will be between $40-$50 for the trial

Eesh…I wish I was paying that amount. My hair and makeup will be $210 and that includes my trial.

There’s a bridal salon in the area I’m getting married, and they charge $60 for a formal hair do. My trial and wedding do the actual day of the wedding will be FREE…I have a friend who is graduating from cosmetology school in January, and she’s doing it for me. 🙂 It pays to have connections. 🙂

I got pretty lucky. My regular hair stylist happens to be a friend from high school, she owns her own salon. She did both my trial, the day of hair and all 5 of my BM’s hair for free as a wedding gift to me. We did my trial about 2.5 weeks before the wedding.

I am paying $75 for my hair trial and $125 for day of service. And that’s just for my hair…the airbrush makeup pricing was $80 for the trial and $125 for day of. Obviously this doesn’t include tip either. But both of them are traveling to me at the hotel and it is NYE so many things seem to have a premium date upcharge. It’s hard to swallow, but considering what we are paying for photography, I want to make sure 100% sure that I look good!
