$450 for our rabbi. He’s doing our ceremony and we’ll meet with him beforehand as well.

i got quotes for $350-500 for the rehearsal dinner and ceremony- which is nuts to me! after lots of research i finally found someone who would do it for $200 and we also get to meet with her beforehand (and we will probably tip her like 50).

Ours was free because we’re having a friend do it. I would not would not would not pay more than $200 though. At least not for a secular officiant, when anyone can do that. If you’re doing pre-marital counseling, having it in a religious place, ok maybe more but still….

$150 and he did a personalized ceremony for us.  He would have met with us too if we lived in the area.  We just did phone calls and emails.

I had no clue there was a sst officiant fee! I just sent my pastor a message asking her because we were going to give her a $150 “donation” as the venue told us it usually is called  We are doing 2 pre marital counseling seaaions at her house also. She is attending the rehearsal dinner . My pastor has been a family friend forever and she is also singing our first song at the reception. I cant wait!!

We’ve seen anywhere from $300 to $850, which makes the $20 fee at the courthouse look *really* good. We did finally find an officiant who would do it for $150, but that’s because it’s less than 15 people, we’re students, and it’s a weekday.

Our officiant is FI’s grandfather who’s a retired minister. We’ll probably give him a gift of some sort.

500$ for a complete stranger we’ll meet the day of our ceremony (Mexico destination wedding). Ugh, no idea what to expect.
