Photographers charge a wide range depending on experience, ability, popularity, etc. We ended up spending around $5000 for 8 hours of coverage, hi-res disk of images, a 70 image album, a 20 image parent album and engagement session.

My photographer charges 900 Euros for 5 hours, 250 retouched photos and about 650 photos total, also our wedding will be on a Thursday which is DRASTICALLY cheaper than the weekend.

About $3500 for 10 hours, two shooters, cd of all high resolution images, 2 hour engagement session, album with photos of our choosing, proof book, guest book with photos from the engagement session, DVD slideshow, online gallery, $100 print credit. I thought it was a really good price for what we’re getting, and our photographer is awesome!

wow! can’t believe these prices. I actually don’t like having my picture taken so was just going to rely on a friend to take some pictures .. then realised it would be unfair to put that sort of pressure n them.

So i have paid £500 to have a photographer for 8 hours. It will mainly be reportage style, so very few of the formal line ups which makes me feel better.
