$2,500 for engagement session, bridal session, 2 photographers at wedding for 5 or 6 hours, can’t remember. Our photographer was offering this special when we met him so we jumped on it. Very glad we chose him.

$1300 for 4 or 5 hours (can’t remember) and that’s on the low end here in Miami. She will be giving us a cd of all of the photos.

We’re paying $1300 for our photographer (in Tampa, FL). That includes full coverage on the wedding day, full printing rights to all photos, digital editing (including color effects), and a custom photo book. I had another photog that was a little less expensive, but I hit it off with our chosen photographer so well that I was willing to pay a little more for good chemistry! After reading this post, I realize that I got a pretty good deal anyway!

The biggest factor in pricing weddings is editing. It can take 30-60 minutes to retouch one face. There is a trend right now with couples wanting to simply hire the photographer to shoot and hand over the media card. There are many who will not do this. This would be handing out less than our best work. If someone looks at the pictures and notices the shiny skin, the lack of retouching small blemishes, etc – then asks who took them – we do not like that kind of work out there.

Always remember, in the USA, the photographer always owns the copyright to all images. The photographer does not own the right to publish (in most states) without written permission. This will often appear in your wedding photography contract. If you do not want them used, make sure you check for it. Anyway, you do not have the right or permission to simply take those images and begin editing or retouching them without the photographer’s permission. You can get this by getting the right to edit and print. Just be sure when you are asking for prices, you ask for what you want. Most of us have stock packages but they are simply a starting point to give you an idea of what the services could cost you. We are always open to creating a package that fits your wants, needs, and budget.

@MissBabeski Most of our pictures will be downtown and Kensington but we are getting married at the Zoo so we will probably do some fun picuture there.  There is this blue wall at the vietnamese restaurant next to Chicken on the Way in Kensington that looks awesome in picutres.

If you are interested here are our engagement pictures (I love showing them off :))
