I don’t plan on purchasing one, but my photographer offers them for $600 and up.

I’m gettng a 10×10 flush mount album with 75 images for $1,170. That may sound like alot, but I live in CT and that is about the norm for a high end photographer. Photo’s are important to us so Fiance & I are getting it.

Albums are expensive and start on the low (quality) end at 300.00, then go up from there. 600.00 should get you a respectable one. 800.00-1000.00 for a very nice one.

It’s good to remember that with album pricing, you aren’t just paying for the album (which, believe me, our costs are HIGH on those suckers!!!) but also the time designing it. Most people don’t realize it, but album design is actually really time consuming – especially when a bride submits her favorites and you have to work them all in or make them flow.

A mid priced album will probably be around $600-800, high end albums will run you over $1000. You can certainly ask your photographer if they have a lower end album, but don’t be surprised if it’s not that much cheaper because the labor involved is quite a bit.

I don’t know exactly how much my photographer is charging me since it is included in the package price but the whole package is $1900 and I received a discount of $200 because I booked them early. So $1700 for the flushmount album with 70 images(18 pages both sides so 36 sides total) the package also includes deluxe design where images will overlap and my pictures can be used as backgrounds too.

The flushmount album was something very important to me when looking for a photographer. There were 3 photographers that I was debating between but none offered flush mount albums. I wish I could have went with our e-pics photographer but she just offered an album that was equivalent of shutterfly.

My sister in law used the company that I went with (Trotter Photo) and they did such a good job on her album. Flush mount is VERY Important to me because I wanted an album that will last, these pages are impossible to rip and it just looks 10x better then regular photobooks, granted for the parents albums I will be designing and Ordering those through shutterfly.

We just bought ours for $650 – which will be a leather bound book with 50 8×10 pictures. It’s a sweet book!

Quality is subjective, and there are a lot of album manufacturers for photographers to choose from.  The truly good ones are going to run $1000-1500.  There are too many variables in options to go over in one comment, but something like that would probably be 15-20 spreads.
