We’re looking at $350 for about 130 servings.  We’re doing one small round cake to cut for pictures, two sheet cakes in the back for the majority of the servings, and another small round cake (also in the back) to bring us up to the right number of servings.  We’re doing two different combinations of two flavors of cake and two flavors of filling, a light whipped frosting, and a coating of white chocolate curls.  The bakery isn’t doing any decorating, but we’ll be asking our florist to set aside some flowers to put on the cutting cake.  It’s probably the most popular wedding bakery in our area, and I’m excited it was in our budget!

I have someone who does it out of her home. She charges $110 per 100 servings. So I am getting a 3 tier cake serving 180 people for $198.

My other qutoes from bakeries in the area ranged from $700 to $500. So I am super excited about my deal! And her cakes taste amazing!! 🙂

We paid about $800 for a 3-tier cake that fed abotu 125 people. Each layer had completely different flavors and was decorated with our city’s skyline. We had the premier wedding cake baker in our city and it was worth every penny. And that’s coming from someone who initially didn’t want a cake. 🙂

Wow, that’s a good deal! We just put our cake order in at a local bakery, and we’re doing a 3 tiered vanilla naked cake w/ fresh berries and a german chocolate sheet cake that will serve around 260 people altogether. It’s going to be $470 for both cakes, including delivery and set up.

We are paying $4.50 per person for our cake, plus delivery, so it will come out to about $450 for 90 people. It is a round 3 tiered cake with rough buttercream icing, with 2 flavors- lemon cake with lemon curd and rasberries, and chocolate cake with chocolate and mocha buttercream. Yum!

ours is already included in our venue price if we go to their bakery provided (which we obviously are haha), buuut i have no idea what delivery/any extras are gonna cost. i know we have a set list of flavors/fillings we can choose from and then there’s others that would cost us extra…but we’re going tonight to pick it out yayy! so fingers crossed not too much more expense to add on!

There’s a bakery that offers a special deal with our venue we’re considering.

3 tier bridal cake, plus a small-ish round grooms cake, serving 150 total would be $450 total.

The next size level up feeds 200 and costs $600, and has a 4 tier cake.

Or we could add a half sheet cake to option 1 for the extra 50 servings for $138 (so $588 instead of $600?)

We’re planning on having between 150-175 guests? Inviting a little over 200. Not sure what to go with.

We’re having a four tiered 130 servings cake (with a separate anniversary cake) for $355. The key is to finding an at-home baker. Super cute cakes at awesome prices!

$1,200 for a four tiered, buttercream frosted cake for 150. I feel like we overpaid now looking at these other prices. Water under the bridge!!

A little over $1000 for 100 servings, including delivery, set-up, the cake-stand, etc. It was double what I was looking to spend, but the baker is just phenomenal and a joy to work with. I know it’ll be worth it!

Ours was free! It was a wedding gift from old family friends who also made my parents cake many years ago. It was 3 large tiers (I think they were 16,14 and 10 inches?) and mostly decorated with berries, thiugh the middle teir had our names on it! It was beautiful and delicious, and very sentimental!

Our venue included a sheet cake as well as the 3-tier large wedding cake but only with a buttercream outside. We had to pay $500 to upgrade the outside of the cake to fondant to achieve the look we wanted, as well as the sugar crystals/pearls and sugar roses, but they let us choose from all of their fillings instead of just their basic 3.

I think they regularly charge about $5 per person for the buttercream cake and $8 per person for one with the upgraded fondant option if you are ordering from them directly and you can choose from 3 of their more basic fillings. Their other fillings were an upgrade of $2 or $3 per serving (our filling choice would’ve fallen in the $3 upgrade list)

Had we bought it ourselves and we weren’t given sheet cakes to serve, it would have cost us over $2,500 to feed our guests (the options were in increments of 25 servings- so 250 servings) plus making sure we still had the top of our cake for us to take home.

Our filling was Vanilla bean cake with chantilly cream and mixed berries.

I paid $610 for 100 servings, although about $90 of that was for the sugar flowers.  It was the best cake I’ve ever eaten.
