I think I paid about $200 for both hair and make up in Las Vegas, I saw crazy prices up to $500. I think it was worth it as professional make some lasts longer for me and it was nice to relax and be pampered!

I’m doing my own makeup, just because I know my face the best and I wear makeup frequently (mostly when going out).
FWIW Kate Middleton did her own makeup at her wedding and it looked gorgeous! She got a class through Bobbi Brown the week before and did it herself day of. I think hair is a lot more important and I’m getting it professionally done for that. Instead use the MU artist money to invest in quality makeup and practice applying it yourself! There’s so many youtube videos on how to do your makeup that its a good investment since most likely you’ll need to do your makeup again in the future!

In San Francisco… took me a while to find someone who’d “only” charge $360 hair and make-up day of, $120 for trial. At least it included gratuity. It’s actually a service called StyleBee. I liked my person a lot but there are some things I want to tweek on the day of which I hope go alright.

Craziness. I’m just going to just get a full face done and not mention it’s for a wedding. Shave off plenty of dough. No way on earth I’d pay more than $75 for a face of makeup.
