I think this probably varies a lot regionally so you are better off just looking up local photographers and seeing if they have prices on their websites or asking for quotes. But to give you an idea, I am paying $3500 for mine and that includes engagement pics, all day wedding coverage and day after trash the dress session.

None!  My wonderful cousin is doing ours as a wedding gift (she’s a professional photographer).

Mine is free. My fiancee, his brother and father own the town’s newspaper.  So they are having one of the reporters (who also does freelance photography) do our wedding photos.  I would say his style is journalistic, so its going to be interesting.

Our photographer ended up being around $600 for wedding and engagement coverage.  She charges by the hours and then you pay for each picture you want.

We seriously lucked out. We’re paying $900 for our photographer. This includes 8 hours of coverage, complete rights to the photos after the event, all of the pictures on a CD & an online hosted album. Fiance and I have a very specific taste when it comes to wedding photography. We wanted someone who specializes in photojournalism and thats what we got.

Our photog would have been about $3800 for 8 hours of coverage, full rights, and an engagement session. We paid more because we flew her out to CA to shoot our wedding. In most places, the really good photogs are around $2500+, unless you get lucky and need fewer hours or find someone who is up and coming

We went with a photographer that was a referral from 2 friends that had previously used him for their weddings…. he ended up being one of the lower priced ones too which was great… it was $2021.31 after tax 🙂   Hope that helps!

We’re paying $1175 for engagement pictures, six hours of coverage, a disk, and now some prints.  My brother knew her though so we got a pretty good deal on her which we were thankful for.

$1500.  Full day coverage, 2 photographers, photobooks, and any prints we want (the photographer is FI’s cousin).  If we make it home before the wedding, we’ll do engagement pics through her, but if we don’t she’ll do a TTD instead.

We are paying around $1900. The wedding is on New Year’s Eve so we are paying extra for the holiday. Includes 2 photographers, 8 hours of coverage, a photobook, etc. Pictures are the most important to me! 🙂

Our Package is $2800, but our photog gave us a 10% discount for doing a PAYMENT PLAN! (WHOA, never heard of that but it rocks) then an additional 20% deal for Military. So we are getting a FANTASTIC deal!!! My photographer was about 60% of our budget!!! I want great pictures! i
