Just wondering how many of you bought their wedding dress at a trunk show. How much was the original price? How much of a discount did you get? Did you get any extra deals from it? (accesories or alterations discounts?)
Thanks in advance for the info!

I bought my dress at a trunk show, though it’s not part of the new season, the store offered 10% off everything by that designer. So it was $1600, down to $1440 🙂

It was 10% off, and the store threw in the underskirt for free. It was worthwhile as it was a local shop and the designer I liked.

I bought my dress in a sale, but not at a trunk show. It was $650 marked down from $1800.

I got 10% off plus 10% off the matching veil.

I didn’t get my dress at a trunk shoe but I’ve only ever seen 10%

I’m going to a Hailey Paige trunk show in a little while and they do 10% off your dress. I’m super hoping to find a dress!!!

10% off the dress and any accessories! Although they didn’t force me to buy accessories there, they said I could come back for my fitting and still get 10% then.
They also waived a bunch of custom fees. Maybe $600? I was a split size (petite but with hips), so they’re making it to better fit my measurements.
This was at a designer’s flagship store.

Thanks everyone for answering! I already have my dress picked out, but since I have more than enough time until my wedding, I might just wait for a trunk show to save something on it. Every little thing counts!

I went in May to a Hayley Paige trunk show and they had a 12% discount. Ask for changes of your dress and they might do them for free, I asked Hayley if it was possible to change the tone of the illusion neckline and she gave me that change and the higher neckline for free.
I only had to pay extra for the bigger cups thank God, because I’m not from NYC and I have to travel again in January to make the express alterations and it is expensive as hell.
