MissAmericanPie: I spent slightly under $100 for fresh flowers from Wegmans and was able to make my bouquet, bouquets for two bridesmaids and 7 boutineeres. As for center pieces my sister’s friends donated fresh cut flowers from their garden – more than enough for the entire banquet room and my lovely sister (also in my wedding) made the flower arrangements for the center pieces. I wish I had pictures but haven’t received copies from our photographer yet! I joked with my sister we should definitely go into the floral business. It was so much fun staying up night before wedding with my sisters working on flower arrangements.

MrsMtoBE2016: i don’t think it’ll block people because they aren’t thick branches. i’ve been to weddings with tall centerpieces and they don’t get in the way as long as they’re high enough. might want to do a mock arrangement and put it at a table and sit there to check it out. i love those branches!

Woah! I’m in Canada and my flowers are costing us $3500! That’s for one bridal bouquet, 2 bridesmaids bouquets, 4 corsages, 6 boutineers, 10 center pieces, 2 arrangements for our ceremony arbour and 8 small hanging arrangements for the chairs lining the aisle. This pricing is very standard for where we are getting married

MissAmericanPie: we spent about $750 on all our bouquets and boutineers and 2 long arrangements.
I had natural touch and silk flowers.
Pictures dont even even do them justice!
I ordered from wed ideas

i’ve met with 2 florists and am going to book one of them tomorrow, because i loved her and she definitely shared my floral vision – cheap and pretty!
for 1 bridal bouquet, 7 bridesmaids, 3 corsages, 10 boutennieres, 15 centerpieces and a few stems for our cupcake display = $1100. it was a little over my budget, so we are probably downsizing the bridal bouquet, only giving the groom/dads bouts and may change up the flowers for the centerpieces. i’ll be reusing the bridesmaids bouquets for the venue and providing all my own cylinders (holler at the dollar store). this is my “new” inspiration. bridesmaids will have all hydrangea and i’ll have a few roses. centerpieces will be hydrangea and astilbe. thanks for all the insight ladies!
