My seamstress told me mine are going to be $422.99, including tax. I purchase a sample that is several sized to small, so she is going to have to let out the bust and side seams, reshape the bust area, add a six point French bustle, and steam, press, and clean it for me. She is one of the best, if not the best, seamstress in our area, so I know I will be happy with her work, even though it is more than I was expecting to pay. My gown also has a lot of bead work and lace, so that also bumps up the cost. The good thing is that because of the height of my shoes and the fullness of my crinoline, I won’t have to have it hemmed.

$108 for shortening the halter, adding a bustle, adding bra cups, and steaming the week of the wedding.
