Mine was five something, but I had it done at Kleinfeld’s so I’m sure there is markup at play!

My alterations were included in the price of my dress so I chose $0-50, although I’m sure the price is embedded in the dress price (my dress was $850)

My alterations cost $160. I had the dress shortened and added a bustle.

Eek.. I haven’t had my official consultation, but I think I am going to end up around $250-$300.   Since my dress is lace with beading, and I need to have the sides taken in, bust taken in, cups put in, hem, bustle, and neckline altered… I don’t think that is too bad. (that is the seamstress over the phone quote…she may say something different when she sees the gown)

I had my dress taken in slightly around the chest area (absolutely no boobs), a bustle and altered the neckline to a sweetheart neckline and it was around $45… I totally lucked out and found an amazing seamstress who does not charge near enough for her services. 🙂

Mine were $240.00  Almost half of the cost of the dress!

It is being shortened (and is a chiffon overlay), taken in about 2 inches from the top of the zipper down to just above my waist (and there is beading and lace appliques) and bustled.  Because the beading runs all the way down the back on both sides of the zipper and through the train, my bustle needed 6 points at the back of my waist to sit properly.

My alterations are $285 and that includes:

Taking the dress in 2+ inches (whoops, weight loss!)
    Adding a bustle
Adding decorative buttons down the back along the zipper

I’m glad that I’m tall and I don’t need it hemmed!

I altered my dress to a sweetheart so that was $331 then for the bustle, and all alterations it was $500 at Pronovias Flagship in NYC.

mine came to 195 for a hem, 1 layer french bustle, and it had to be taken in all the way down… and cups. 🙂

I paid $280 for cups, a bustle, and it was taken in about 1 inch. I thought it was a bit pricey!!

Mine was $316 that is for shortening the straps just a bit.  Putting in a 8 point French bustle, pressing the dress and sewing the lace down a bit on my long line bra.

@Mrs.LemonDrop:  yeah I’m really glad that mine were included in the price! I’ve googled the price of my dress and I paid pretty much the same as what it’s listed elsewhere and I’m sure my alterations would be around $300 if they weren’t included. I’ve had it taken in 3 times!
