I did a lot of DIY’s for them, but their main gift is a coach wristlist (got at the outlet for $39 each marked down from $144!).

Also made them robes (~$10), JCrew clearance belt (~$9), necklace (~$5), name hangers (~$8)

A little under $75 each when all was said and done.

We are on a very tight budget so I am planning to keep it between $25-50. I am planning on doing the personalized tote bag (this has been requested by a few of my bms!) and then load it with some good day of things. And then I would also like to do a bracelet or earrings (l plan to catch some good black friday sales for these!).

I spent well over $100, but I just had a maid of honor (my sister), and no other bridesmaids. I probably would have done $50-75 each had there been several girls.

My goal was to stay around $50 each…but like a couple of the PP’s, I kind of have a shopping problem. And any time I found a good deal, I scooped something else up.

I got Momogrammed bags (that actually match the wedding, instead of the girls, which I kind of regret, but it’s too late now) $12 each

We made them robes for the day of which were about $15 each

I made them super cute Bridesmaid or Best Man tank tops to wear under the robes which were about $6 each (really, a STEAL)

A day of emergency kit that cost about $10

and then a bunch of other misc stuff to go in them too that definitely adds up to like $70

My favorite part is the Thank you cards I found on etsy! They say

Thank you for being my bitch for a day Bridesmaid!

Around $200.  They’ll each be getting a bracelet, set of earrings, and a mani/pedi/30 minute massage at the spa the morning of the wedding.

@speechgal44:  I will be spending probably between $50-$75 on each girl, my Maid/Matron of Honor spent $10 on each of us when we were her BMs, because she genuinely couldn’t afford anymore, and was worried as it was about covering their contracts.

i think that as long as its something that you know each girl would like, don’t worry about how much you spend. Keep it where you can comfortably afford and just make sure each gift reflects their personalities.

I’ve lost track – but I also have a shopping problem.

    I got them:

    – personalized clutches from loveamarie on Etsy

    – earrings from CrystalAvenues on Etsy

    – a bracelet from Swarovski

    – personalized hangers (I don’t remember the vendor name atm)

    – glittery champagne flutes

    – pashminas for the day of the wedding

    – I was going to get robes from Victoria’s Secret but they discontinued the Royal Blue ones 🙁

I will also be paying for their hair (as a surprise) the day of the wedding!

Im going to spend around $50…

I want to get personalized robes, a yankee candle and the hanger with their name on it… i might also throw in a frame with a pic from the bach party in it. I wish I could do more but I just cant afford it. Luckily all I wanted was for them to buy the dress… they got to pick it our from 5 choices of all differnt prie ranges- so they could choose which one they wanted. i told them they could wear whatever black shoes they wanted, and they are doing their own hair and makeup. Plus I will be/have been a bridesmaid for their weddings so it’s all about even.

I suspect it’s going to end up costing me more than a hundred each, which makes me especially glad I only have three attendants. 🙂

Honestly, I agree with a PP, as long as you put some thought into it it’s not as important how much you spend.

I was the Maid/Matron of Honor in a wedding where she gave me a random bag of things that looked like impulse purchases at the checkout line at Michaels. None of it was personal to me at all or looked like any thought went into it. I would have valued a letter or card from her much more than that.

We spent $100+ pp.  $125 for the bridesmaids, $150 for Maid/Matron of Honor.  $125 for ushers, $150 for groomsmen.  Bridesmaid or Best Man…still TBD.  Didn’t intend the extra $25 for the guys, DH just decided not to hunt them down for their tie costs.  They probably don’t realize we paid it for them though.  Although I didn’t remind a bridesmaid she owed me $70 for her dress, so I suppose that makes her $200.

    3 bridesmaids, 3 groomsmen, 2 ushers
