Mine was $250 in Denver, CO. We had the option of doing a shoot at her studio or at an outside location… we ended up shooting at several locations in & around Estes Park, CO (where we’re getting married) and she ended up spending two days with us in total… We got 144 edited photos from the session, and it also included a print up to 8×10 with a museum quality matte, in a black portfolio with 4 archival pens for signing… we’re using it in place of a guest book since we’re having a smaller wedding.

For those who got a freebie, I am so jealous. Thanks for sharing, now I have a ball park idea.

Nothin. I have a slightly artistically inclined roommate and we headed out to our college campus in the fall and had fun.

Our engagement pictures session was included in the package we got from our photographer. We asked if we could opt out of the E-pics and get a cheaper rate. Our photographer said if we didn’t want to do the E-pics, we could get a $500 credit on pictures we ordered through her. The thing is…she’s giving us high quality digital proofs of all our images, so we didn’t plan on ordering any pictures through her. We decided to go ahead and do the E-pics, and I am very glad we did. They turned out great.

My husband and I are photographers, so we did our own for free. We used a tripod, remote, and our trampoline in the backyard.
It was totally fun and they came out great, but looking back, I wish we’d had someone else take them because we were a little limited. Actually, I am thinking of hiring someone to do an anniversary session for us-because ironically, us photographers do not have many great photos of ourselves together!

We paid $870 for 350 shots. It might sound a little high but our photographers were amazing. The pictures turn out beautiful. It is once in a life time (hopefully=)) experience so it was totally worth it.

ours were included in our packaage as far as time for shooting.. to get the photos on a disc with a picture release note was 175.. about 150 photos for like an 90 minutes session

Ours were free! (We shot them ourselves with a tripod and remote timer!) But normally I think you can pay anywhere from $200-800, depending on the package…

My engagement shoot and the photos were included in the wedding day package. She would have dropped the price if we didn’t want them, but I’m not sure by how much. We do want them so I didn’t even ask.

- Wedding: May 2014 - Madison, WI
Ours are $150 + $30 site fee (due to where we decided to have our photos taken), this includes a 2 hour session and a CD with all our edited images with full rights for personal use.
If we then decide to book the photographer for the wedding she will deduct the $150 from their wedding package fee which is $2,000 for 8 hours with 2 photographers and a flash drive of all our edited images again with full rights for personal use.

Free!! I had my sister who does photography as a hobby do them. They turned out great and I have used them for our guestbook, STDs and program. I also got a discount from our photographer who had them included in our package, I think it was like 150 dollars or something.
