Well, I’m DIYing… but I am not planning on spending any more than 300 bucks… But, when I went to a wedding fair, one bridal boquet (bride’s) was in the range from 150 – 300… too much for this poor bride!

Just got the proposal.  It’s going to come to about $1100.  That includes my bouquet, 3 Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets, a bunch of boutinnieres (7), a few corsages (5), two altar arrangements, and 8 small centerpieces.

I think you spend what you want to spend.  A friend recently got married and she spent over $5k on flowers!  I thought that was crazy.  But that was important to her. Another friend who also recently got married spent $10 for each boutonniere, $25 for each bridesmaid bouquet and $50 for hers.  For our wedding, we will be spending $20 on each bridesmaid bouquet, $30 on mine and that’s all the flowers we will be having.  We are putting our money in other areas that are more important to us.

My quote right now is 1200 for:

my bouquet, 6bm bouquet, 10bouts and corsages, 31 centrepieces/other table decorations. im going to diy the flower girl balls and toss bouquet

she asked what my budget was before starting the appointment then showed me amazigng arrangements and i fell in love. Them somehow the quote was double the budget! So i told her tha made no sense and obv wouldnt work for me so we compromised on a few things and she dropped the price..i am still over by 200 but am so in love that other florists havent been able to impress me enough that i will most likely suck it up and pay the extra
