$250 for a cobalt, chrome, carbon fiber ring….his choice without even looking at price! I had picked out a platinum/diamond band which he liked ($1300) but he liked this one better. Go figure!

He wants a beautiful platinum band with a hidden diamond. It’s about £1,600 or $2,300.

~$200. He really liked the idea of titanium.

His band was more expensive than mine! He originally wanted a $2,000 band (simple, white gold, nothing ornate about it) but ended up with a $950 band. My band was $650.

6mm white gold band – $750 and that’s only because he was a size 14.5!  Then again, he’s 6ft 5….everything of his costs me more..lol!

My husband’s ring is 9mm size 11 Titanium with deer antler and meteorite inlay. With the engraving, & insured shipping it came out to just under $800

$160 for a simple silver band with two antiqued grooves.  Then when he lost it two weeks after our wedding, we got a “frequent buyer” discount so the second (with some modifications) was $130.  He hasn’t managed to lose that one.  It was the same custom jeweler who made my engagement and wedding bands.

I did not check to see if I was getting ripped off or not… we like the guy’s work so it was worth it to me.

It was under £400 for a plain palladium band. My ring was around half the price (a plain white gold band) and is roughly half the size.. so that made sense to me.

I think we paid about $500 for a heavy weight 14k 5mm ring. More then mine we paid $190 for mine a 3mm heavy weight 14k ring. Both are simple high polished gold.

We didn’t want to spend over a $1000 for his band because we thought for a men’s wedding band that would just be ridiculous unless it was platinum. But we also wanted to make sure it was made of a material that would last and wouldn’t get scratched up so easily. So we picked a 14k white gold ring to match the material and colour of my engagement ring. The ring was originally priced at $875, but he is the standard size for rings that jewelry stores usually carry for men. So they gave us a 20% discount because we would be buying it as is and he wouldn’t need to get it resized. So with the discount and then the taxes added on, I paid $791 for it.

For the most part, it’s pretty plain which is his style. But we both liked that it had a bit of detail to it. This is his ring next to mine:

Just under 2K for a platinum pipe-cut band.  He loved it and it came from the same store as my rings.

muskokabride:  Well, I wanted a few wedding bands to stack and hubby said he was fine with that as long as he got a few wedding bands for himself to switch out as he wanted. We got him a few on overstock.com for pretty cheap (comparatively) and they’re fantastic. We actually saw the same exact band (same markings on the inside too) that we got on overstock for $80 at a well-known local jewelry store for $600.

I spent about a grand, tax included, for hubby’s band. We looked at all the tungsten and cheaper options in the store, but he really wanted white gold. He also has long fingers, so we went with a thick band that had this really cool rock-like hammered detail. My band only cost about $350 because we refurbished an heirloom band that went perfectly with my e-ring. We’re very happy with our rings!

$20. He feels claustrophic with a ring on (got his finger stuck in something as a kid), so he wanted an elastic rubbery one.
