We spent about $900 for a “custom” (though it’s very simple, so nothing custom really about it) handforged 18k unplated white gold 4mm band for him. He got to choose what he wanted within our budget, the same thing as with my rings.
His engagement band (more traditional in our culture than actually buying the guy a wedding band) was under $130 for a local brand’s ready made steel band.

$18, tungsten carbide via Amazon Prime. He would have preferred I spent less, lol.

$35 lol…. his brother got the same ring from Kohl’s (department store)! He could’ve cared less to get an expensive band. It looks great and has held up pretty good so far.

It’s the 4mm 14k white gold classic wedding band on Blue Nile. It’s regularly $190 but I got it for $170 during a sale.

Nothing! He bought it himself and I bought mine 😉
His is titanium with dinosaur bone, enamel and meteorite. He loves space so it is very fitting.

We went to Tiffany’s for our bands! His 4mm 18k yellow gold band was $1220 – My 2mm one was about $700 (But I also got the rose gold Soleste band as well so I’m not complaining 😉 )

Mine is a picky SOB. He tried on millions of rings in every store within a 30 mile radius. Ended up with a Tiffany platimum band (my rings aren’t even Tiffany!). It was $3000 I think.

My husband wanted a tungsten carbide ring. The one he picked out was about $100.

My husband wanted a plain black tungsten band….cost $100.00

we planned on spending more and getting platinum, but he ended up preferring the cobalt chrome so we went with that. I felt a little guilty at how inexpensive it is, but there is no “supposed to” spend amount and he got exactly what he wanted!

Just over a $1000 for a 5mm white gold hammered band from Ken & Dana Designs. It was the only ring I saw his eyes light up for so it was totally worth it.

He wants a plain tungsten band, he saw some on Amazon for $20 that he likes. I feel bad because of how much my rings cost in comparison but that’s what he says he wants.

~$60 but he has a ‘backup’ he got for free. He had a band custom made with some specific really cool metal (I forget what it’s called) – it was free, someone my Brother-In-Law knows through connnections. However, it was getting close to the wedding and we weren’t sure the guy was going to come through so we bought a $60 band from the jeweler. He literally walked in and said “Give me the cheapest one ya got”.
DH won’t wear his ring at work for safety reasons and only wears it out if he remembers (or I gently remind him lol) so it was never a big deal to either of us. In return, I got to spend a loooot more on my own wedding band 😉

I haven’t ordered it yet, but it’ll be $1050 to get a custom made band for him that matches my set.

DH’s white gold milgrain ring cost about $600. The cost goes up if you have a more expensive metal or if you want a fancier design or embedded bling.
