I spent about $100 regular postage–$50 for the invitations and $50 for the RSVP envelopes.

LadyPeacockk:  we have the same stamp idea. I will be using red heart stamps for the outside ro reflect my personality and batman stamps for my RSVP cards. That is for my fiance he is a big Batman fan.

I had to buy the $.70 stamps, and sent about 50 invitations. So I spent around $35 for the outer envelopes. But I also paid for the RSVP stamps so I spent more than that overall.

You’ll have to get them weighed to see what price stamp you will need.

I don’t imagine I’ll be spending more than $.70 to send each invitation. They’re not overly heavy, just card stock, no ribbons or sequins. They’re a regular card size. But I’m going to weigh them, definitely.

I will also be stamping the RSVP envelopes. If I send off all 45 of my invitations, then the postage will be $63. We are inviting about 80-90 people, and most of these people have multiple people per household, so I got away with fewer invites and stamps!

LadyPeacockk:  We totally joked at the post office while buying postage for our Save-The-Date Cards that we should put batman stamps on it. I’m glad someone did it, I’d lol and be pretty darn excited if a STD/invite came with hilarious postage on it.

We got boring wedding roses 😛

That said, to the OP here, our invites are 6″ x 9″ and are just a flat card w/ one enclosure in an envelope. Ours made the cut for just 1 stamp (I mailed one to us to be sure) 🙂 We didn’t want lots of frills with our invites so it’s good for us and saves on postage.

So far for Save-The-Date Cards we spent about $40 and our invites will be the same, another $40 or so to send about 80 invitations.

Basic lettermail stamps are $0.85 here (Canada). So my invites have been scaled way back, because if they are over 30 grams they will cost $1.20! And I don’t even want to think about if they are over 50 grams!

So we are doing online RSVPs, and I had to scrap my pocketfold dreams.

Right now I think we’re sitting around 100 invitations, so I’m gonna say $100 because some will be going out of the country, so more.
