$750 including engagement photos and all day coverage on our wedding day.  Still will be under $1000 with prints! And a disc included of the wedding photos!

@Laurenplusalex:  $2000. 12 hours, 2 shooters, engagement session, cd and online gallery of all photos (she promises 1000) and copyright release of all the photos included. This is VERY regional though, the photographer we’re using would be twice as much on the east coast.

The photgrapher we originally chose was only $500…we would have him all day and get all our pictures on a USB drive, and it included an engagement shoot. He also told us he would have a 2nd photographer by the time our date rolled around, and it wouldn’t be extra! Of course, since we postponed, we have no idea what his pricing will be when we choose our new date. He was just getitng started in the business, but I was really impressed with the quality for the price!

$700 for 8 hours wedding day coverage, 1 main shooter & 1 “details” shooter (as my photog called it), online gallery, disc with all prints & their copyrights and an engagement session.  Oh, and 10, 8×10 photos of my choice.

NO SHAME HERE IN SAVING $$$ on a photographer!!  We booked a great lady who is up and coming in the area and we got a steal.  She was just voted one of the area’s top photographers, too.  She’s just breaking into wedding photography (not to mention, the area), so she’s trying to establish herself.  Her work is gorgeous!

I think it was about $2400 which included a thumb drive with high res versions of all the photos (over 1300!).  She was amazing.  Worth every penny (this coming from someone who is usually considered cheap!).

$2400, which I think is pretty rare for NYC, but he’s travelling from Colorado.

    • 10 consecutive hours of photography coverage
    • An online password-protected gallery
    • Full high-resolution JPG files on a data DVD.

@shrinkgirl:  That is rare!  We’re also in NYC and paid $3300 before tax for:

    • Engagement shoot
    • Full day coverage (9 hours) with second shooter and, it turned out, third shooter bc our primary photog was 8 months pregnant!
    • 100 5 x 7 prints, with option to purchase additional prints/sizes at cost
    • Online gallery, CD with all images, and digital rights
    • “Mess the dress” or other post-wedding shoot (we’re doing a one-year anniversary session)

$2100 all day wedding photography with 2 photographers, 1000 retouched images on dvd, engagement session with retouched images on dvd, boudoir session with retouched images on dvd, online album, reception slide show, $200 print credit, print release.  Hands down the best spent wedding expense.
