I budgeted $150 for a bracelet, earrings, and a headpiece. I’ll probably end up spending about that, plus shoes…so maybe $200?

Does a veil count as an accessory? If so, $180 for the veil, $140 for my bracelet, and around 60 for my earrings. I don’t plan on wearing a necklace since the other pieces are very blingy. I haven’t bought shoes yet but don’t want to spend anymore than 100. 🙂

I think I bought about $15.00 worth so far. I have until May, so I may add a few bucks to that!

I budgeted $600. I spent:

  • $115 on veil
  • $300 on custom made bolero/cap sleeves for dress (definitely not budgeted for)
  • $90 on hair comb
  • $95 on shoes
  • $100 on bracelet
  • $120 on necklace
  • $70 for purse

I also bought the following for wedding but wore to the rehearsal instead (found something better that I used for the wedding)

  • $50 for sash
  • $100 for bracelet
  • $100 for necklace

So all told, I spent $900 for my wedding day accessories and an additional $250 on the rehearsal look. Way over–I compensated elsewhere. I figured this wasn’t a terrible place to go over since since most (except the hair comb and veil) can be reworn for another occasion.

I just started browsing tiaras and totally had sticker shock. $170 for something I’ll wear once? Then I browsed Etsy and saw an awesome one for $40. Or I suppose I could go to Claires and get one for $20.

My veil was $160 and I estimate my shoes to be between $40-$80. Haven’t priced out jewelry yet.

So far I’ve purchased earrings from etsy for $35, and my mom and I made me a headband birdcage veil for around $10, and we found a cute hair flower at joann’s fabric store for like $2 and are redoing the middle of it (it had rhinestones and pearls, but they looked cheap).

Also I don’t know if you are including shoes, but I purchased dyeables from endless for $70, RIT fabric dye from hobby lobby for $1.50, and am making ribbon roses for maybe $5?

I do confess I also have a $180 veil, but I could have gone without it.  They talked us into it while buying the dress!
