I have only spent about £12 each on my two bridesmaids’ gifts. I knew exactly what I wanted to get them and was excited to find I could get it so affordably. They are buying their own dresses and shoes [which they are choosing for themselves– the only rule being not to clash with each other or the groom!]. I’ll be putting them up at my place for two weeks for the wedding, which will incur some more costs, I suppose. Oh! I forgot that I’m going to pay for manicures, so make that about £34 each.

    I got each girl…

    • Kate Spade Anchor Necklace ($25 each on sale with coupon – Piperlime)
    • Anthropologie Monogram Mug ($8 each)
    • Picture Frame with IOU for wedding photo ($7 each from Marshall’s)
    • Earrings ($3 each from Forever21)
    • Kleenex Packet ($0.25 each from Target)

So in total I spend around $45 when I add in my DIY card and gift bag.

their gift was about $50 each.

MissLibra:  Don’t go by me, b/c I only have 2 girls who are doing a LOT for me, but mine are almost $200 each.  I am scaling back on a lot of things here and there so I can afford to do this for them!  I’m getting them jewelry from Tiffany’s.

    I am giving each girl:

    • floral robe (etsy)
    • floral purse (etsy)
    • personalized hanger
    • mason jar mug filled with a few cute things (nail polish, etc.)
    • Lotion from Crabtree & Evlyn in a cute make-up bag
    • canvas tote bag with their monigram

I’m spending around $120 each for 6 girls. I wanted to get them earrings too but havent found any. Forever21 sounds like a good idea, I’ll definitely check that out. 🙂

MissLibra:  I have 4 adult BMs and 1 junior one. I’ve spent on average 90 pp on the adults, and I’ve spent 50 on the younger one.

In terms of what I’ve bought them wedding-wise, we paid for the adult BMs dresses which cost 1600 total, as well as their flowers and ‘getting ready’ bits (champagne and glasses and personalised robes) at a total cost of maybe another 400ish. They’re wearing shoes they have already, and doing their own hair and make-up as a) they’d prefer to and b) we’re not bothered about them matching. Then we spent about 160 on my junior BMs entire outfit Inc shoes and are again providing her flowers but not hair (her mum is doing it; she dances so she’s used to doing it for shows etc).

I am in the process of deciding what to get my bridal party, but only have 2 to think for. I don’t have a problem spending over $100 for each, as they’re spending enough for the wedding.

Right now, I’m thinking of a wristlet from somewher (Coach, Kate Spade), or these nesting pouches from Better Life Bags. In them, I’d give them earrings and a necklace to wear with their dresses, and some odds and ends.

If I do the nesting pouches, they take a month to order – so I need to make a decision by mid-July! They are adorable, and different. I just ordered some myself!

Oh and as for what I’ve bought them, I’ve got them all individual gifts:

Maid/Matron of Honor: Lego bride and groom (she loves lego); Nike Roshe Santa Monica trainers (125 total)

Bridesmaid or Best Man1: 9ct yellow gold 2mm ring (90)

Bridesmaid or Best Man2: 9ct yellow gold pearl and diamond necklace (80)

Bridesmaid or Best Man3: 14ct yellow gold kiwi Green opal stud earrings, 9ct gold ring (100)

Junior Bridesmaid or Best Man: silver, CZ and pearl necklace and pearl stud earrings (55)

I wanted to get them all personal gifts that they will actually like and wear/use, and they all have very different tastes.

Mine are getting tote bags with jeweled hairpieces from Kate Spade, cuff bracelets, flip-flops for the reception, a GC for a mani/pedi, and a small bottle of their favorite liquor. I’m spending about $125 per girl, and I have 5 girls.
