I’ll end up spending about $150 each just on gifts. I only have two girls, so I do plan to spoil them.

I’m getting them each a handbang that suits their style, stuffed with jewelry and other things they’ll enjoy, as well as mini bottles of liquor, snacks, mints, maybe even some makeup. Also a gift card to their favorite stores.

The day-of I’ll probably cater in a subway tray for the girls & guys to get their tummies full.

Edit : I Also got jewelry [earrings, necklace, ring, bracelets] for the weddingon top of their Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts.

I don’t consider those a part of the Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts though, since it’s FOR the wedding.

I spent $150 each on the gifts.  I got them designer bags.  I don’t think this is the norm.

About 100 on gifts, and 150 on hair and makeup. If I could go back I wouldn’t have done hair and makeup, and gotten smaller gifts. I got them silk robes, flip flops, jewelry, earrings, hair clips with flowers, tote bag, vs lip gloss, and magazines plus small stuff.

The pictures did turn out amazing though of us girls. 🙂

Well I got them bracelets and shoes because I wanted matching shoes, but I consider that wedding stuff.

I bout them little bags that are going to filled with mini version of things they need day off, and those fold out flats too,

I got them different gifts that range from a 100 to a couple hundred dollars. It was well worth it to me, and considering how much we spent on the wedding not a lot in the grand scheme of things.

@HisNightOwl2014:  I’m going to be spending approximately the same amount as you. I’ll be getting them matching sterling silver pearl earrings and pearl necklaces for the wedding.

I purchased them a clutch for the day and I’m going to fill it with all the essentials they will need like bandaids, qtips, tide pen etc. I’ll also give them their fave bottle of liquor, a roller ball of their fave perfume and a gift card each to Dynamite, they both love that store. So in total $300 or so, but I only have two girls so I feel like I can spoil them a bit.

I spent between $150-$200 on each of them. They paid for their own dresses and they weren’t exactly cheap, not to mention the bachelorette party/lingerie shower they threw for me, so I wanted to give them something nice in return.

@HisNightOwl2014:  I spent about 140 on each one. I had 3 bridesmaids. I purchased their shoes, necklace, earrings, and paid to have their hair and make-up done. Two of them had to travel so I paid for their hotel rooms (250 each) and offered to pay for both of their travel expenses, however one of them refused to let us pay for her travel expenses. Everybody but DH’s sister paid for their bridesmaid dress. We paid for her dress because she paid for half of the rehearsal dinner and she did not have travel expenses.

I had planned on spending $35.00 on mine, I found lockets I thought would be great. I wound up returning my wedding dress to DB and could only get store credit.  I had $300.00 and I gave it to my BM’s.  So they only had to pay for alterations.  It wound up being $135.00 on each Bridesmaid or Best Man.

I spent a lot on Maid/Matron of Honor. I paid for her accomodations, dress (her choice of dress), shoes (her choice of shoes), hair, and make-up. I figured that those we really all about the wedding, so I didn’t consider them as gifts. I also bought her a robe to get ready in and a gift certificate to Ruths Chris. My Man of Honor (teen LK) got a flip video camera and a new computer game that he had been eyeing up.

I spent around $150-$200 on each Bridesmaid or Best Man – basically, I figured out about how much they were spending on their outfits and went with that amount in gifts.

I had a total of 7 girls plus the flower girl. I bought them matching earrings and necklaces which were about $60 each total. Then personalized bags from Davids bridal. Those were on sale and only $15 each. I found cute bridesmaids frams for a pic of us from the wedding which I plan to have copies madd of for them. Thosecost $9 each from amazon. And then I put together the bridesmaid survival kit that included about 20 things from the dollar store so $20. I also made each girl a vase for her flowers at the reception. Those cost about $3 each to make. So I think I spent jusg under $110 per girl. I did give my 2 Maid of honors the matching ring to the earrings and necklace which was another $25 for them. And to the bridesmaid who sid most the planning of the bridal shower a $25 Sephora gift card. So $135 on those girls. My girls were amazing the entire time and made my day yesterday so special so they deserved every dime I spent on them:)
