mine was just under $6000 without alterations, I am hoping it won’t be over 6000 with them!

I spent $2,500.00 on an original Reem Acra gown (originally worth $7,800).  I know that it was TOO MUCH to spend, and believe me, I stayed up all night wondering if I did the right thing, or chose the right dress!  I also bought a veil for $550 (original price $1,746.00) at the same sample sale.  So, $3,000 without alterations!

Here are some photos:

My dress, veil and taxes came to 2800$. I’m feeling bad now, because I see how many beautiful dresses you ladies got for a fraction of the price 🙁  I LOVE my dress though- so, I”m going to try not to regret it! Unfortunately my fiance likes to read weddingbee so I can’t post any links or pictures!!

I feel poor looking at all these pretty wedding dresses. 🙂  I think I’m going to be the odd one out in this post since I spent $40 on my dress, $15 on the veil, and $10 on the shoes.  I’m convinced I’ll still be able to feel like a princess.  My dress was being sold as a prom dress and I got it off amiclubwear.com.  It’s actually very nice though.  It’s halter style, has a pin in the middle, and goes down to my ankles.  I did buy it a little earlier than I should, but I’ve been on a tight budget for the past couple years so I figured it was now or never.  I found it after about 6 months of window shopping.  If I’m able to get my old camera to work I want to post a picture here.

Mine was $1800 total – which was $1000 more than I was planning on spending so it was a huge splurge for me but I didn’t really feel guilty since I loved it so much. It’s the margaret by sottero and midgley.

I got my dress 10% off at an Allure trunk sale but still paid 950.  I went in thinking I would pay 500-600 but I was told that if I bought my dress that I would receive a free Hawaiian honeymoon so I went for it.  And I’m so in love.
