Um, I might pick up a new bathing suit and maybe some lingere but I really don’t anticipate spending more than $200.

New clothes just aren’t that high on my priority list.

Umm…$50 on soft silky nighties (not overly risque lingeire, more like stuff i slept in), $10 for a hat, $50 on sunscreen, $30 on books, $30 on aluminum cups (keeps the drinks cold!) and $50 for a dress.

Yikes. That added up fast!

Can’t imagine it being more than $200-ish…

I dont know where we are going for our honeymoon till the wedding night ( FH is planning it all) But if it’s a warm climate – since i live in Miami, not much aside from probably the bikini I want to get made with "Mrs. XXXX" on the back & maybe some dresses & dressy sandals – $100 approx.

Cold climate – I am definitely splurging on some nice sewater dresses & flat leather boots I have been dying to get since I started dating FH – So approx $300 at the most 🙂

However, I tend to use my normal clothes (warm/cold) and simply by travel accessories, like coats, scraves, shoes & purses to make the most of what I already have.

Wow – 2K – Youre gonna shine girl!

I am not really planning on spending anything for clothes for the honeymoon, although I do hope to pick up a nice dress, jewelry and maybe a hat while on the honeymoon so I have something I can remember the Bahamas with.

I can’t imagine spending much. I usually only wear dresses and I have tons of those. as for lingerie, after my bridal shower on Sunday i think I have enough to last me the entire trip (planning for 2 weeks) wearing something different every night (I kid you not!)

My mom bought me most of my honeymoon lingerie because I’m broke. It probably cost about $150 altogether. Then I just went to Target and spent another $100 getting cheap beach clothes (we went to Hawaii) because we were going to be spending most of our time either in the jungle or in the water, and didn’t need anything nice.

I’m sure I’ll be around $800-900 when it’s all done.   One night of my bachelorette the ladies had a little lingire party for me…so I picked up some very cute duds there. 😉

Ahh, don’t feel bad.  If you have the money to spend, then it’s no big deal. I shopped all throughout the engagement for clothes, lingerie, beach stuff for the honeymoon, and while I never added it all up, I am sure it came out close to your total. If it isn’t in your budget though, then consider returning a few items.  You’ll probably want to buy some souveniers on your trip, right? I packed my bags so tightly, I barely had room to bring anything new home!

I think that with all the shoes, bridal lingerie, bathing suits, dressy clothes for the fancy dinners, etc I will spend close to that as well. Don’t feel bad, just be sure to pack smart and buy things you will use again.

I might pick up a few new things, but nothing crazy.  Probably no more than $250.  I have a lot of summer stuff I can wear.  And Fiance never notices when I get new stuff (correction:  he notices when I buy new bags…he hates that!)

I’ll probably come in around $1000… my weight loss battle has been pretty successful, so none of my clothes fit anymore! So I guess the "trousseau" is not just about the honeymoon, I need a whole new wardrobe, because everything fits like sacks! Also, pre-weight-loss I refused to wear short dress/skirts, shorts, or bikinis, and Fiance mentioned that he wished I would get some of those… happy to oblige
