$0 because I had a $500 budget he said “Don’t bother.” He bought himself a $4000 custom mokune gane band by James Binnion. If I remember right it was a 20K yellow gold and palladium custom billet that was a beast to create. He loves his ring and never takes it off.

$400 off Etsy. It is black zirconium on the outside and Ironwood on the inside. It is so beautiful, and 2 years in so, so trashed. Not sure what his next ring will be.

Gosh I wish you had asked for pictures OP because some of these sound so cool!

We spent $100-$200 on his band. I would have happily spent more but that just happened to be how much the he one he liked cost.

About $3,000 on a platinum David Yurman band.  In hindsight I should have agreed to get him the same ring in tungsten (much more affordable) but I had been dead set on both of us having platinum bands.

Darling Husband became obsessed with Tungsten because of how hard it is so he got himself 4 different cheap Tungsten rings. I think cheapest was $60 and most expensive was $250. Hes always been a bit extra lol

His was around $100. He chose 8mm wide tungsten. He has never worn it consistently because after he got it he realized there were things about tungsten he didn’t like. He is left-handed, so the metal would often scratch his phone’s screen, scratch the car door when he went to open it, scratch our fridge, etc. Plus since it’s so wide it just feels really heavy and uncomfortable to wear, especially when he’s writing. It really annoys him so he doesn’t wear a ring 97% of the time.

So this year I decided to upgrade his band and just ordered him a 14k gold two-tone comfort fit band that is 6mm. I got a great deal on it, even with his big finger size (11): $600! (e-weddingbands.com is having a 15% off sale right now!)

It should be here in a couple weeks and I’m so excited to surprise him with it! I hope the softer/lighter metal and the thinner band will be a better fit for him.

Around $900 before taxes for a platinum band. He has a nickel allergy, so platinum was non-negotiable.
