I fell in love with a breath taking Provonias gown and I cannot WAIT to wear it for my big day!! With such a gorgeous dress, I want a gorgeous veil to match! The veil that I absolutely love is $395. This seems a bit much just to be worn for a 20-30 minute ceremony and some pictures.. I’ve seen others that are just around $50 (much more reasonable) but nearly aren’t as gorgeous.
How much did you guys spend on your veil?!

The veils I was looking at were over $600. Needless to say, I was crushed.
I think I’m gonna make my own! 😛

Like $3. I bought millinery netting and some small pearls at Joann’s and made one myself.

$150. Was hoping for cheaper but didn’t have the time and wouldn’t be able to try on my dress again so I just got it.

$400 for a cathedral drop veil with lace appliques. I ordered it from the boutique where I got my dress. Way more than I thought I was going to spend on a veil, that’s for sure.

$60 and mine is just a simple fingertip length veil with thin edging. I’m still not even 100% sure I’ll be wearing it.

made by enzoani, about $250

Right now we’re at $1500…it’s custom-made so $$$.

My veil cost $120, but I only paid $80 because it was on sale. It was a fingertip veil.
When my husband and I renew our vows, I won’t be wearing any kind of veil.
Veils are for brides and not wives who are renewing their vows.

I spent $100 on a fingertip veil that it hand-made by a lady at my local flea market. but I also had a cathedral veil from my friend that was something borrow so I was lucky to also have that for the ceremony. I think she spent $200 on that from a store in New York garment district. I personally do not think that anything more than that is worth it. I saw many beautiful veils on Etsy for much less than $200.
@StephieBee: wowwwww! Love your dress. Love the veil. Love it all! So pretty.

I spent waaaay too much on my veil. It was a custom made length with added crystals and cost around $800.00.

The original cost of my veil was $169.00, but after tax it came out to $189.00 and I bought it at Alfred Angelo.
I was stunned when I saw the price tag of how much veils cost, but my mother was kind enough to buy the veil for me as a wedding present.

$10.37! lol After searching for one, I decided to make my own. I just wanted a simple raw edge veil. Went to Hancock Fabrics and bought the supplies! Whipped it up in about 20 minutes. It goes to about my ankles (barefooted) so it’s about 50-55 inches.
