We haven’t bought our wedding bands yet but my jeweler is going to make my wedding band for $800 and it will look something like this (mine will be 18K gold and have diamonds all the way around):
And my fiancees will be $200 for something like this (tungsten):
And $400 for something like this except all black not checkered (tungsten and 18K gold):

Around $250 for both. Mine is a plain white gold 2mm band and his is titanium.

Mrs.Fay: Where did you get his wedding band made? We have a similar situation where my Fiance has some gold from his late mother that he would love make into a wedding band, but I have no idea where to start with the process?

His is titanium and cost about $350. He’s not exactly someone who is super extravagant so it will work perfectly. 🙂 I fell in love with the diamond wrap look since my engagement ring is a small solitaire with a plain band. I also have a cathedral setting so the wraps I loved didn’t necessarily fit my engagement ring. So we found a compromise: we found a band I loved (that was also on sale!) and we ordered two. So I techincally will have three bands, the two wedding bands will encase my engagement ring once it is sodered together. Total I think mine was around $1100. Engagement ring was about $1000 so I’m definitely happy with the blingy result we got for just over $2k!!!! I had originally wanted a more blingy engagement ring, but I like the fact that I was able to really customize my look. If ever we want to do some sort of upgrade, we could always change the “wrap” around the engagement ring. I love that I will still keep what he picked out for me but I am able to bling it up with my bands. 😉

Mine is $850, custom made to match my antique Engagement Ring. I am on day 6 without my Engagement Ring, I had to leave it with them!! I can’t wait to get it back!! The band is going to be platinum and have vintage diamonds in there the same kind as in setting of my Engagement Ring band. I had asked another jewler in the same “jewerly district” and they quoted twice as much, so I think it’s a fair price.
His is $350, white gold.
Have I mentioned I can’t wait to get my Engagement Ring back!?!?!?!

carmenere620: My band will be a 1/2 ct channel cut that he purchased from Zales and I believe it was about $700. His will be right at $1,000 and is currently being custom made and will be a black titanium tension setting band with a 1 ct princess cut ruby inverted. My e-ring has also has 2 princess cut ruby sidestones so even tho his will be black and mine white gold they will still match 🙂

We purchased two 0.5 carat half-eternity 14k prong-set round diamond wedding bands from Overstock.com to go on each side of my engagement ring. We bought them in January when all the big sales were going on after the holidays. We paid $450 for each.
We bought my 18k A. Jaffe engagement ring on Ebay. My engagement ring has prong set oval diamonds. It has a 0.5 carat center stone and two 0.25 sidestones. My Fiance let me pick my engagement ring out myself and I was able to find one I love for half his original ring budget thanks to Ebay and my Fiance being patient! We are still looking for his ring.
My e-ring came with a 14k, 0.25 carat channel-set diamond band from Zales that I am selling on ebay. The band currently retails for $799 at Zales, but I have it listed in a buy it now auction for $275! It’s in great condition.
Here is the link if any of you bees want to snatch this deal: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gorgeous-Zales-Ring-1-4-Carat-Diamond-14k-White-Gold-Womens-Wedding-Band-Sz-7-/221756322704?
All of the rings in the photos are size 7 for scale.
Good luck to those of you looking for your rings!

Mine was $1000 custom made. It’s a .73ct half eternity uprong band. Fiance got a two tone white and yellow gold band for $500.

carmenere620: My wedding band is curved and has 7 Paraiba tourmalines in it. Each Paraiba cost me more than my engagment ring… Looking back on it it was not the best use of funds but I love it. Now I feel really guilty when I do not wear it. I spent -$75 on my husbands ring so it kind of worked out.
