How much did you spend on your wedding dress?

$50! I bought a different dress originally (which was only $300). My dress budget was $500, so I still stayed under that even with the second dress  After losing some weight, the original one didn’t fit and alterations were going to cost more than I wanted to spend AND would have cut it closer to my wedding day than I was comfortable with. We’re just having a small 40 person reception at our favorite brewery, so this will work well for a casual wedding.

So many gorgeous dresses!

I spent a whopping… $16.49 😬 We got married at City Hall and I really didn’t want to to spend a lot on something I was only going to wear once. So.. little white dress!

300$ from eBay. It is a WToo Calla dress originally from BHLDN. Some alterations and a blingy belt, and it was exactly what I wanted!

Mine cost $550 plus tax – my mom is a seamstress so she will do the alterations for me (though I purposely bought a dress that only needed hemming to make it simple for her!). The dress went on sale 3 weeks later for $350 and it killed me I couldn’t have gotten the sale price!!! Ah well, it was still deeply discounted from the original price at BHLDN ($975) so I know I should let go…

I spent about $800 after tax and having to order the petite size ($75 extra for 5″ shorter). I wasn’t even looking at prices, and just happened to fall in love with a fairly inexpensive dress! I plan to spend another $200-300 on alterations.

Our wedding budget is $20K. My e-ring cost about $500, but again was exactly the ring I wanted and just happened to be inexpensive.

I love looking at all the different styles and how fantastic these dresses look on everyone! I just got mine a couple days ago and am so excited! With taxes it was about $2200.

diamondbeez :  $60 off Amazon.  No regrets, I had another dress but decided it was too formal for an outdoor arboretum wedding.  It was $350 at I am going to consign it.

My dress was just under $2100 including tax. Alterations will be extra, worst case scenario around $1000 (I am planning to have her add some swarovski to the skirt but I am not sure). I still need to choose a veil and the ones I like seem to fall in the $190-$600 range depending on how much decoration the veil has. The budget I told the salons was $2500 but I was willing to go above that if I found THE ONE.

My ring was $13-14k and I think the wedding ring will be $2-4k, so my wedding attire is going to come in around 1/5 the cost of my wedding set. I am happy with this because the wedding dress is something I will only be wearing once, but the jewelry I will wear every day.

My budget was $2,000. I found this at a trunk show and it ended up costing just over $1,000. It hasn’t come in yet so I’m not sure how much I’ll spend on alterationsStellaYork_6530_02-530x845StellaYork_6530_03-530x845
