robbinsa :  Have fun!!! I’m staying at the same resort but in the Infinity Pool Swim Out Casitas.  I didn’t realize they had overwater bungalows when I first started looking.  While booking my trip and finally seeing them I think those were going for about 20k for the 8 nights I was going to be there. When are you going?  What activities do you have planned?

We are going to Paris, Santorini, and the Amalfi Coast the first two weeks in September. Our flights were $1,500 total (4 flights for each of us to fly in between countries and back to NYC) so I did well with getting good prices there. Hoping to stay under $5000 once everything is booked. We have been to Italy before and have those hotels booked, but I would love to hear some reccomendatoins for hotels in Santorini!

craigslistgirl :  Any advice you can give for a fellow Ireland Honeymooner?  We have most of ours planned, but are always looking for suggestions 🙂  3 days in Dublin at a hotel, 2 days in Cobh at a B&B, 2 days in Tralee at a castle, and 2 days in Galway at a B&B.

We’re spending about $3,000 and going to Santorini. My fiancé’s parents bought us our plane tickets so if you include that it’d be more like $5,000.

We are spending around 7k I think, including spends. We are taking a 3 week trip from the UK to stay in Bali (Ubud, Seminyak), Lombok (Sengiggi) and on Gili T. We splurged on fancy accomodation as we generally don’t (we love to travel but usually go for mid to lower end accomodation to spend more money on food/activities) and because we are going to Indonesia the cost of “living” is relatively cheap compared to other places we looked. Activity costs are reasonable as well and we will be able to have a nice mix or hiking/diving/being active and sunbathing 🙂 Plus amazing fresh and healthy food!

We did originally want to go to Hawaii but felt that we still want to get value for money. Have been to SE Asia quite a few times but never Bali/Lombok – I’ll be on the plane in 40 days! Can’t wait!

We just booked 10 nights 11 days in Hawaii on Kauai, the big island, and Oahu. Before excursions, the flights, hotels, and rental cars are $4000. We wanted to keep costs down but figured this will probably be our only chance to go to Hawaii.

    • Wedding: August 2017 - Rome

We are doing Italy for 16 days (actually getting married whilst we are there but Im not including all of that in the following costs).

2 Business class return flights from London to Rome were £700

Accommodation (Rome, Venice and Florence – all suites including a penthouse suite in Rome) £3000

Train journeys between cities – £300

Food – £1050 (bearing in mind two whole days of those 16 are not included in this budget due to wedding)

    Attraction visiting – £520

    So in total – £5650 (approx $7400)

We’re actually spending around the same on the honeymoon as the wedding itself!

We are going to hawaii for our one year anniversary/honeymoon. We are Canadian so the dollar is hurting us. All in, I think we will spend about $5000 with flights, our amazing condo, food, car rental, etc.
