My ring cost about 2.5K. It was slightly over the budget we had generally discussed but still easily affordable. My husband paid for 100% of my engagement ring. I have a three stone setting with channel set diamonds in the band. The center sapphire is around 1 ct equivalent. I’m not really sure the specs of the rest of the ring.

My e-ring was 37€. I set a budget of not more than 100 € for that. It’s a silver claddagh ring with a lab alexandrite in a bezel setting. My fiancé paid for it 100%.

As for the wedding bands, we were thinking of going with silver or stainless steel or some inexpensive material as well. We are looking at about 40-60€ each, but have a budget set for 200€ for both rings together.

But we’re also young low-wage workers and I’ll have to relocate from Germany to Ireland, so saving is the key 😀

My ring was $13-14k before sales tax. He paid for it so I don’t know the exact amount. Originally the budget he told me he wanted to stick to was $8-10k but we both wanted to have the setting made in platinum so it increased the cost. The diamond is a 1.3 carat round that we picked out together. The specs are GIA triple excellent, H color, and either SI1 or VS2 clarity, can’t remember. No flourescence. Cut is the most important to getting a sparkly stone so that was the most important spec to us. The little diamonds are F/G color but idk how much they weigh. Yellow

We did not purchase our wedding rings yet but the ring I like is 18k yellow gold with .30 carats of diamonds and it’s around $900. I may do that instead of a platinum band since I love the mix-and-match look. My Fiance just wants a plain 18k yellow gold band.

I’d recommend checking out PriceScope if you are shopping for a diamond or any type of fine jewelry!

Mine was AUD $1200. 18K white gold .25ct diamond colour E-G VS2 I think. Our budget was around AUD $1000-$1500. Fiance paid. Haven’t decided on wedding bands yet but we will try find the best deal on etsy!

550 for my ring. It’s a 5mm princess cut onyx with 4 2.5 mm round cut rubies and set in silver.

~280 for my fiance’s ring. It’s a tungsten carbide ring with a small yellow sapphire flush set into it.

And my weddin band is going to be 300-330. It will be a 2 or 2.5mm rose gold band with a single ruby flush set in it.

diamondbeez :  engagement ring was £1770, budget was up to £3k. It’s a custom made platinum and diamond cluster with 0.66TCW D VVS1 diamonds. Most of the cost was in the metal and the workmanship/labour.

My wedding band is a custom made curved band in platinum with 0.16TCW diamonds and cost £960. Budget was up to £1200.

OH’s ring is a court shaped platinum band weighing 14g, and cost £1080. Budget was up to £2k.

I don’t know how much money he spent on the ring he proposed with. Yellow gold cluster (1/4 ct total) but we went halves on the one we chose together. The ring he proposed with was second hand (which I didn’t mind as I know he would have had a small budget) but he wanted me to have something “of my own” for the forever ring and we chose one together.

The one we chose was £499, it’s a 1/4 ct total with a Center stone and halo. My wedding ring which is being made to match was £415, we are paying jointly for this from wedding fund. So all in all just over £1000 for all 3.

(Keep in mind that I am in the UK and I think generally ring budgets are smaller here and a small stone suits my style.

Ring that he proposed with. I wear as RHR now but engagement ring is at the jewellers so switched hands this week.

Ring we chose (sorry bad lighting, it was just a quick snap to look at while it’s not with me, but sparkles lovely in the light). Wedding ring will be plain yellow gold band made to fit flush and match that shape.

$2200 for e-ring, significantly under budget (~8k). We already had joint finances so I guess technically we both paid for it.

I think it’s more about what is comfortable for your financial situation and budget rather than what other bees are spending though. We paid in cash out of our savings account and were able to rebuild our savings back up within 2 months of purchasing.

I don’t know the exact price but it was somewhere around $18k-$20K. I don’t know what his budget was but he custom designed the ring. It was cheaper too because it was from South Africa. He paid for it. I literally had no expectations of the ring and just said I liked solitaire. He did it all on his own.

Tcw is like 1.82 or something set in platinum.

My ring was around 7k. It’s a 0.7 ct Canadian diamond set in platinum, I colour, VS2. My fiancé paid for the ring himself, I told him I would like to pay for the wedding rings.

My wedding set was a little over 2k. It’s a 1.85 carat oval Harro Gem moissy set in a 14k white gold 1.8mm diamond pave setting with matching wedding band. We ended up paying quite a bit less than expected because the jeweler that I chose to make my rings has amazing prices.
