$450. It’s a citrine ring with tiny diamond accents. I didn’t want a diamond, so he picked the November stone, which has significance to our relationship. I also instructed him to spend a very small amount, as I wanted to prioritize other areas of our daily budget. He did a good job 🙂

0.7 center stone and 1.6 total weight. Not sure of the specs off the top of my head without looking at the papers, but it’s appraised at 7k. Wedding band was roughly $800.

So we kind of cobbled together my e-ring. We initially planned to go full custom.

But I got cold feet about having something made without being able to try it on and see how it looked on my hand.

We always knew we’d go with a moissanite, but assumed we’d have a setting made to accommodate a kite set stone.

Then I was just idly perusing Shane company – actually looking for FHs ring, and came across this setting and fell in love, hard. Best part, it was only $795 instead of the $3k-$4k the custom setting was going to run.

We went down to the store, and popped in a dummy stone of roughly the size we were considering and really felt good about how it looked. We also bought the matching band for another $695

We ordered a 1.92 ct equivalent C&C F1 colorless Princess which was $1300 and then we paid another $385 for a custom head and to have the stone set (after a few mishaps with another jeweler)

In all, the ring cost $2480. We’d actually budgeted $5k so we were pretty happy to come in so far under. Even with my wedding ring included it topped out at $3175 – still far under our original budget. FH paid for all of it. I’ll buy his wedding ring, which I will have custom made with a subtle engraving that mimics the detail on my band.

Vintage sapphire and diamond ring here. Our budget was just to keep it affordable. I know it was less than $350, but I’m not sure if the specific cost. He paid for it on his own. We are each buying the other’s custom wedding bands. Kine will be $325 with tax, his will probably be $600-$800 because my honey has more expensive tastes then me lol. We’re meeting with the jeweler Saturday to finalize the details.

I’m getting a 5stone moissanite wedding band made with the stones pictured below.

clipclop1023 :  We got it at Kay’s when we made another purchase. Its from the Vera Wang collection. My band, my e-ring, and my husband’s band all come from different jewelers but it worked out fine 😬

We paid $5000 for my Diamond~ 1.02 carat Pear, F color, VS2 (came out of pocket $200)

We paid $1150 for my Setting~ .50 carat. (came out of pocket $375)

So a total of $6150

Since I have purchased everything over the years from him I was able to trade “up” or across a lot and only come out of pocket a few hundred dollars each time. This last time I turned in my old 1.5 carat solitaire and stud earrings and came out of pocket $575 total but I am cash invested in my ring $6150. Which is probably very fair, also included is diamond coverage for life and excellent craftsmanship and durability.

My engagement ring cost about $850 AUD. I was originally looking at a half carat pear diamond in a halo on a pave band then I saw my ring and loved the detail of the graduation of diamonds on the band with the one slightly bigger diamond. I also liked the floral cluster. I like details so the ring appealed to me.

I don’t have any  pics  on my phone  of me wearing it so including  the stock photo from when we purchased it.

Not engaged yet, but have the ring. It was $986 because we got extremely lucky. We’d talked about a budget of $1-1.5K (we’re students.) I found a ring I loved for $2300, and just kind of put it out of mind. A few months later, the store was going out of business, and the ring was 60% off, so $986 with tax. My boyfriend and I had talked about getting married and our future a lot, but I didn’t feel comfortable forcing him to pay nearly $1000 so suddenly, so I begged him to let me buy it, then he could pay me back when he was comfortable (there were no holds since they were going out of business.) He was hesitant, and asked me to think on it overnight. I felt the same the next day, so he told me to go for it. He cut me a check for $1K even a couple of weeks later.

It’s 18K white gold, and the center stone is 1-carat equivalent CZ, which was intended as a placeholder. The “swirl” halo is diamond.

No picture of it on, but I stole this one from the store’s website:

My now husband was sort of retired due to ill health so we didn’t have much of a budget but he did sell his motorbike to fund our rings which is kind of romantic!  After a lot of shopping around I got my rose gold 8mm moissy ring for £325, I had my wedding band custom made from a fantastic Etsy seller for £200 and he has his enormo 11mm eBay moissy (£50) set for £800 but got a discount for some traded in gold. All in all I’m very pleased with what we got for not much cashola and we sparkle like CRAZY wherever we go 😂😂😂 they may not be expensive rings but they’re priceless to me because 2 years ago we didn’t think he’d live and now all is much better.
